You must now already that 50 female celebrities accounts were hacked. Gmail accounts are easy to hack and this is nothing new. But what i want to highlight here is that according to me this was done by PR agents of these celebrities. I have a strong feeling that this is a collaborated effort by the celebs or people working for these celebs.
"Why would they do this?"

Why not, their popularity is on the decline. No one wants to take them in movies which are going fail miserably anyways. Their nude photos are already on the web, from a long time. Why are they reacting to this? If you have seen one nude pic, you would not need another to imagine the celeb nude in your brain, right? That is why i think this is staged and stunt, successful one at that. As far as i know people i know are already searching for these pics.

Objective achieved.

From Paris with Love

Subliminal messages in this movie are not even subtle. -To find Allah and become a muslim, is to find a cause to blow yourself! how retarded do the movie makers think we are? -Women wearing a Veil/Burqa i probably wearing a bomb vest. hence you have the right to kill her. -Most Muslims in Paris carry guns. -Do whatever you want to win, even if it means going against everything you believe...... Words are stronger than bullets they say. But bullets are killing my brothers and sisters. They have been doing this for the past 30 years since the region was declared a troubled region and lakhs of soldiers were sent batch after batch. Has anything changed since then, except for many of my innocent brothers and sisters being killed, tortured, burned, raped. Human rights violations are the same in every troubled region they say. Expect in Kashmir bullets are used against stones. We can go on and on about India's occupation of a state full of peace loving Muslims and systematically turning it into a war zone. Kashmiris are my brothers, all Muslims are my brothers as the Quran says. I am in India but not in Kashmir, else i would be on the streets or probably dead by now. All the attacks are over reported and i can say this because Australia is a violent country. Don't believe me, check any local newspaper from there and all you see is violent acts glaring at you. I think we have pissed off almost every country, by doing what we have shamefully put in the past. Remember the human rights violations in Kashmir, Gujarat, Orissa etc. List goes on, however the most important reason for them to be angry at us, i think is the fact that born in an overpopulated country like ours and none of us want to live here. We were better off colonised i guess. Even before we gain senses we are made to believe that our destination should be US or UK. Why, the money of course and the capitalist herd mentality we are injected with every step of the way. With a resourceful heaven like this, we should really strive to make this heaven than look for heaven's elsewhere.
Now, coming to the attacks in the land of Oz, they are hyped on every channel in India, all for ratings and viewership. One kid is killed in Oz and the coverage given is more than 9/11. At the same time, elsewhere in India, UP to be precise, in an Ashram, 6000 people gather and there is a stampede. Why, the people administrating the assembly hit them with sticks to control them. What caused the panic? The swamiji of the ashram started giving freebies which set off the commotion. More than 60 people died. Where is the coverage? Forget coverage, the news channel don't even mention this. Why, the people who dies in the stampede were poor. And the lone kid who died was obviously from a rich NRI family. I am not saying that one life is not worth 60 lives. All i am saying, there should be justice in reporting by our so called Media. Elsewhere in an ashram, a swamiji was caught making out with a Tamil actress. After which his ashram was burnt down and he is absconding right now.

Show them Hell!!!

What do i think about the whole Mumbai episode and Shahrukh Khan being targeted for his comments on IPL? I think that it is unfortunate that a terrorist organisation like Shiv sena still exists and it has been let go of scot free, till now. Rahul Gandhi made an amazing example of them, showing them that they really are powerless. He is becoming more and more like his father and a courageous leader who leads by example.
Shahrukh has given much to this country, the country he was born in. The country you and i were born in. It has been taken out of context, all he said was that it would be great to see players from a country which has won a World Cup recently in that sport. It wasn't security which IPL promoters had in mind when they decided to get political in the first place. Ironic that his movie talks about hypocrisy and religious wars.
Shiv Sena and MNS are regionalists and they are not patriotic to their country. If they were why would they target North indians, accusing them of eroding their culture and what not. I belive these regional outfits which are bordering on being terrorist organizations themselves, should be banned. Their members and leaders if caught should be severely punished to make an example of.
I read this article recently which clearly said that all these groups want, is attention. It is a battle to gain as much political mileage as possible. This is the only way they can be sure of the spotlight. By being assholes. It said that these two cousins are fighting for domination. But this is no exaggeration that he is the King of horror.
This is a novella and it is around the main character Mort Rainey who is a writer suffering from writer's block. He is going through a divorce and living in the other home that he has for summer in a place called Tashmore Lake. Peace is disturbed when he is visited by a stranger claiming that he has stolen his story. Strange things happen, his cat dies, his house is burnt, the other house where his wife lives. His wife survives since she was with the man she is seeing at the time it was burnt. The only evidence that can prove he hasn't stolen any story is also burnt.
Mort tries to find who this stranger is by assigning his friend in Tashmore on the job. He gets killed along with another guy. The story takes a turn where Mort is led to believe that the could be the stranger doing this in a split personality sort of way. He finds clues in his past life to what is happening now, the story that he had stolen when he was in school and similarity in names. He almost loses it when he finds the hat the stranger wears in his house and then he almost kills his wife becoming the other personality that he is. She is saved by the insurance investigator. The Epilogue is interesting especially the confession of a dead guy which comes to light, that Mort may have gone crazy later but the stranger may have been real.
Very interesting and unique ending, it is definitely a horror story, especially the parts when the killing happen and when Mort discovers the two dead guys near his house, with brains on one guys cheeks, drying. Dude did King get nasty in this or what?

Rage by Richard Bachman

I just read this book called Rage written by Stephen King under the pen name Richard Bachman. It is an old book came in 80's, I wasn't born when it released and since my curiosity with old books has only increased, I read this today and was very impressed.
This book has slight feel of the Salinger's great book "The Catcher in the Rye", but while Rye and this are both set in school campus and the theme is kinda paranoid schizophrenia, the similarity ends.
Rage is very difficult to comprehend but easy to grasp. You have to read it to let it grasp you. It is mainly about one boy Charlie Decker and how he takes his class hostage one day after burning his locker. Kills his teacher and shoots another one who is trying to get students evacuated after the fire alarm and the motives are revealed in a long conversation with everyone("getting it on" as author says)
There are stories and secrets revealed in the class that morning, even though he is the main character and at center stage. He says that everything is revolving around Ted, perfect American boy who seems to have lost his soul and this event is an attempt to free it. Everyone in the class find themselves, share their secrets, the pace of the story is incredible, the prose is amazingly simple and this novel is a very fast read and can be easily finished in one shot.
The best part in the book is the ritual with Ted which I will not reveal but it is unique at least the preclimax is. In the end Charlie says it is the secrets that we keep is what makes us human.
I will have to agree buddy. Always liked Stephen King's books, this is no gem but no ordinary stone either.
I just checked it out, this novel came out in 1985 as hardcover, the year I was born.

review of Shantaram, the book

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wtobNaYA4JY/SMLPmBYB7MI/AAAAAAAABC4/5K3irD1pcmo/s400/shantaram.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5242981168323882178" />
Shantaram is a roman-clef novel of Gregory David Roberts , a best seller and soon to be a movie with actors like Johnny Depp and Amitabh Bachchan. Eagerly awaiting the movie. Gregory David Roberts escaped from an Australian Prison and landed in India completely by chance and spent 10 years anonymously, his adventures and misadventures is what the book is about , however it has some elements of fiction, hence a Roman-a-clef novel.
The way the book starts hooks you to it . There is no escaping this amazingly written book after that.
His character in the book Lin says the one thing he had when he was being tortured in the Australian prison and an Indian one was freedom even though his body was chained and severely beaten. He says he had the freedom to hate the man who was torturing him. He chose to forgive.
The Book is huge, it is a 1000 page book and i completed this monster in 3 or 4 installments. But boy was it worth it, the story is no ordinary story and in GDR's own words
he knew even before the book began that it would be a movie. In the story there are many characters some real some fictional according to the author in an interview he gave
recently. But the best characters are his friend Prabhaker his friend , his guide to Bombay where he spends ten years in the book, Abdullah Taheri, henchman of mafia lord, the lord Abdel Khader Khan, Karla his love, accomplice, reason for his many trysts with many dangerous people of Bombay(Mumbai). These characters along with the main character Lin(author) make the book a journey that takes the reader to the heart of India, its people, its culture, to the Soviet-Afghan war in Afghanistan, from Australia to New Zealand, from Pakistan to Afghanistan and back to India where Lin knows he belongs as soon as he sets his foot on India. Landing in India as transition to catch another flight, he actually tore the ticket when he landed here.
According to me the best part of this completely engaging book was when he spends 6 weeks in an Indian prison, of course the prison is far worse than the Australian prison, not just that, GDR describes the experience in such detail that i felt like an inmate!. He says that in a prison, world becomes raw and real to the true sense of the word, Respect means everything and if you are not respected you die, you have to earn your respect, unlike the outside world where respect has lost it meaning.

Shantaram the title has an interesting story too, he visits his friend Prabhaker's Village in India and Prabhaker's family treats him like their own son. They name him Shantaram which means man of peace, it is a different story that he is never around peace after that, but i felt he had peace inside him . I think we need to be at peace no matter where we are.
GDR says that he is writing a sequel and a prequel for Shantaram and we wait with baited breath.......

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K.Dick

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_wtobNaYA4JY/SJiy03rfyEI/AAAAAAAAANY/CebZsUO5MIk/s200/androids.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231127588560160834" />
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? -- Philip K.Dick
This is a Sci-fi novel and you guessed it right with the title giving it away. It is the story of our lead character Rick Deckard who is a bounty hunter. He kills androids (human like robots ). Earth is no longer the only planet humans live on , we have colonised other planets in the solar system and most of the reference in the book is to Mars , not much about other planets. Earth has gone through World War 3 and the dust it self has killed almost all the animals and every human has to have atleast one living animal he tends to, so that he can brag about it to his friends, scary thought eh?
Androids are not allowed on earth, they are manufactured and used as slaves on Mars. Some of them escape to earth, mostly Nexus-6 types which are the latest and closest looking humanoids. Rick is employed by the San Francisco police to kill the androids but not before a test is administered, Voigt-Kampff test which tests the Empathy quotient and can always tell if you are an android except on schizophrenics.
Rick is assigned to kill the 6 androids who are on the hit list and the violence though short lived , sticks with you. He gets an android, Polokov who poses like a cop in his hovercar, in the head with his lasergun, brains all over. To know more about the Nexus-6 he goes to the corporation that manufactures these, Rosen Corp and gets introduced to the lady Android, Rachael Rosen who he administers the test as an example.
The plot kind of goes slow here with another character J R Isidore being introduced who helps the remaining three androids Rick wants to kill. Mercer is another character we hear of often and he exists in a different world, people have a spiritual fusing with him, when they try to talk to him through the Mercer boxes they have. Is it reference to organised religion's evolution in the future, maybe!
Rick doesn't have a real animal, he only has an electric sheep, his real animal we hear has died. He gets the bounty money and does get a real goat for a huge amount from a pet shop, it is killed by Rachael at the exact moment when he is killing one of the last andys, Pris Stratton, twin android of Rachael. He sleeps with Rachael and doesn't want to think about it, he knows that he can know if it is right or wrong and hence decided not to think about it.
Androids don't have empathy, they don't have feelings except for themselves, a probable reference to what we have become, isolated, lonely, made every other animal extinct, it is the future that the author talks about, it has arrived.
Rick ends up killing all andys and finds another extinct animal, a toad which he brings home to her wife Iran Deckard, she shows him that it is electric almost saddening him and relieving him at the same time.
He goes to sleep and we know that he will not be a bounty hunter anymore, with no androids left and his new feeling to electric animals that they have a right to live as much as we do.

Choke by Chuck Palahniuk

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_wtobNaYA4JY/SJhsAz0YYOI/AAAAAAAAANQ/NAyWNA3RZiU/s200/choke.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231049728356540642" />
Choke -- Chuck Palahniuk
Choke is a novel about a boy, his mommy and when he is grown up, self discovery, sexaholics, deviant behaviour, fake choking in public, thinking he is jesus's second coming.
The author is the same guy who wrote Fight Club, the cult book, movie, which has a devoted fan following, which is only increasing every day. He says in the beginning of the book, Don't read this, rather go out, watch a movie or take some course. Author is not right.
This book is so much better than anything i ever did. It made me realize how crazy some people can be and how our generation is just rotting away with sin, sex and making fun of everything that is created and not actually creating anything.
Victor Mancini is the lead character whose mother Ida Mancini is in a psych hospital, she needs constant care and that doesn't come cheap. At three thousand dollars a month, the Hospital takes care of her and he is just a boy with her mommy as the bus driver when the story begins. She has escaped from Italy, pregnant and alone, In US she learns to make money, lot of money by giving people what they want. She hypnotizes them to a sexual act with any historical figure, including Marilyn Monroe, Indira Gandhi and Princess Diana. She goes crazy over time and as he grows up she is admitted to St.Anthony constant care. He is a sexaholic, and he says sex can never be sex unless your partner is a new one, every time. Victor has to earn money , somehow and the way he does it is innovative and adventurous, something i never expected. He goes to a new restaurant everyday and begins choking half way through. Pretending of course he searches for his saviour, legs snapping, veins bulging. Someone new saves him every time, they become his hero for the day. They are reborn that day he says and this day next year onwards he will receive a birthday card and a cheque. Cool.
Denny is his Friend who works with him in the Colonial Dunsboro, a medieval village for exhibition but where you can never break character. Denny is a pervert who is trying to change by concentrating on something else like collecting one rock everyday that he is sober.
Paige Marshall is actually an inmate behaving like a doctor, who lies to Victor about him being Christ's son since his mother was part of an experiment with the preserved foreskin of the prophet. This it turns out is a lie and Paige lied to get pregnant as she is from the future. This it also turns out is a lie.
In the end his mother dies of course choking on his chocolate pudding. He starts choking in front of the judge but only this time it is real, Victor is saved but everyone who has ever saved him finds out that their achievement was fake. In the end he is in the dark where Denny is building a castle with his rocks and says we could build anything we want.
The best part for me though was the raping of Gwen, man was that crazy. I had a hard on as i read that part and never have i thought that the victim can actually enjoy being raped. They can enjoy it so much that they can fake it by buying out a rapist and micro managing everything, you know like letting him know where to hide and where he has to keep the knife when playing slide in, slide out.

The Catcher in the Rye - J D Salinger

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_wtobNaYA4JY/SI9QDdn0JfI/AAAAAAAAAMc/hCStQrr5CrY/s320/9780316769488.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5228485712821888498" />
The catcher in the Rye.
Can a book be more engaging than this? It is a narrative , a young boy of seventeen describing about 3 days in his life. When he is about to be thrown out of a school for failing all subjects except English. He hates almost everything and the book is all about his adventures and misadventures from the trip to home in New York, meeting a class mate's mom in the train and trying to get her have a drink with you!, finding a cheap hotel, getting fleeced by a pimp and chatting a prostitute when depressed and lonely.
More importantly the novel is about doing what you love doing in life and not giving a damn about what the world thinks.
Salinger is very good at the pace he maintains, even though the book has so many characters with truck loads of nostalgia. I almost think there was huge part of my life in this book.
So many characters, but our narrator Holden Caulfield has some thing interesting about him. He is young, handsome and either he is someone who knows what he exactly wants from life or a really confused guy. The vocabulary is very natural and the opinions our narrator has about some people, for example the ivy league bastards is exactly what i have about them.
I know now why so many people like this book , it is not boring even for a second, it is a ride in our narrator's life. The incidents want you keep coming back, rereading the book till it becomes your favourite book. I guess that is what happened to me too.
It kills me, when a book like this is written in such simple language and such a strong hold over the characters, i can read this hundred times before the end of this year and not be bored.
I love Phoebe, Holden's sister, i love Sally too, she is just a typical girl friend isn't she? I love Holden's mom, just like my mom, she can wake up when someone coughs in Siberia.
This book reminds me of a cool movie i watched recently, Donnie Darko.
If you get a chance get a hardcover edition of this book and don't buy a paperback, cause you will end up reading it many times and hardback's survive the weathering.

The Running Man

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_wtobNaYA4JY/SI3k1Fpu6TI/AAAAAAAAAMU/8CZSY9fP6F4/s320/untitled.bmp" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5228086343148431666" />
I just finished reading this book, what first attracted me towards the book was the plot.
I read on wiki and it said something about games that people play in future. swimming with crocs, Running from hunters and treadmill to bucks being some of the games in the book. I am a running man myself, i have this slight pain in my heel because of running a lot, 'plantar fascia'. Imagined how it would be if i was running for my life on a treadmill, with the pain searing through.
I thought the concept was unique and dystopian and started reading this book. It has an ending very similar to an event that happened almost 20 years after the book was written, "9/11".
It is written in a pen name of Stephen King, Richard Bachman. Why do authors have Pen-names? The book is definitely Orwellian in its initial stages, with 1984 actually being a code when the lead, Richards is on the radio in a plane.
Richards is a well built middle aged , married, out of job man with a daughter having pneumonia and in need of money. The world is in future 2050's where games have taken a new role in men's lives. They are the government and government wants people addicted to reality shows on Free-Vee(TV). Where men fight for their lives like the gladiators and the pollution levels are at an all time high. Sounds a bit like what is happening now , isn't it? except for the fighting for your lives part, well, we have the wars for that.
Richards is chosen for a show that is the main draw and watched by 500 million people in America and many more around the globe. He runs, hides and lives as long as he can, if caught he is shot. He is given 4800 new dollars when the game begins with a 12 hour head start.
Everyone knows him , through the TV and anyone informing the cops is rewarded. People who help him are killed. He survives more than any other contestant. He is shot , cars fly at him, he causes some to fly, with amazing detail Mr.King. Hi-jacks an air car with a girl taken hostage, gets on a plane after negotiations, this part is the best and brilliantly paced. There is a scene near the end when the lead hunter, McCone and Richards have a duel. Richards survives of course but is shot in the stomach, hole in the gut and intestines hanging out, he manages to get the hostage girl take the chute out of the plane and flies the plane into the headquarters building of the games network.
The intestines part was gory enough for me and worth reading this not up to the mark book from the true king of horror, Stephen King.

Review of Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_wtobNaYA4JY/SIS24q_NdZI/AAAAAAAAAMM/bW1hRFBhhfs/s320/451.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5225502552384959890" />
I don’t want to exaggerate but this is a fine book. The best part, this book is about books. It talks about how governments can control people into being docile and unpredictable, especially at times of war by making sure they are having fun all the time. Most importantly the government is burning all the books, it seems like books cause men to think and thinking men is not what a country at war wants, is it?
It begins with the phrase Fahrenheit 451 the temperature at which book burns. Apt. The character Guy Montag is a fireman and firemen in that day and age don’t rescue people or put off fires, they set fire to houses with books and libraries, sometimes with people in them. Montag meets a girl called Clarisse in his neighborhood who is unlike any teenager he has met, older than she is, at least intellectually. She sets that ricochet (I read in King’s book called Firestarter) in Montag’s head that cause him to think, contemplate and actually steal a book from a burning scene. He has complete change of heart, quits his job, risks both his own and his wife’s life. I felt scared when the description of the mechanical hound was so intricate, goddamn that dog, and I felt the proboscis actually sting me.
Montag meets an old man (Faber) in a park once who was hiding something and he knows it is a book but wants to know more, to talk to this old man. When his house is burnt, he hatches his escape with Faber, both setting off in different directions. Fooling the hound that is hot on his scent was nicely written and very pacy. I like the Sci-fi feel this book has with Four walled telescreens and seashell type head phones that are wireless and this book was written in 76, amazing!
Nothing you can expect about the ending, Montag meets a group of intellectuals headed by a man called Granger, after dumping the hound. They have all read a lot of books and remember them, so as to reproduce them after the war. Atomic bomb takes the city down and reduces it to dust in an instant. The book ends with Montag remembering a paragraph from a book that he has read, destroyed and is about the reproduce.
“You are not important”, Granger says.
I think this book is very relevant to times like these.

The Dark Knights

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_wtobNaYA4JY/SHyvYK8-vjI/AAAAAAAAAME/4awbdv_SWRU/s200/heath.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5223242497634778674" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_wtobNaYA4JY/SHyvR8EiUKI/AAAAAAAAAL8/CGrXGanCGG8/s200/brandon1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5223242390560723106" />

Tribute to Brandon Lee and Heath Ledger.
I saw this movie called "The Crow" recently, it is an old movie and came in around 1993. Brandon Lee played the lead in his only movie.
To them who don't know Brandon Lee he was Bruce Lee's son. Tragically his first and only movie was famous for the wrong reasons. He was killed during the filming of a shooting scene gone wrong. 95 % of the movie was completed and when a scene was being filmed , where he gets shot in the movie, the bullet was a real one instead of the duplicate ones they use. He was in coma and later died in the hospital.
Imagine this, when the shot was done, the director said Cut and Brandon didn't getup, that is when they realized that something was wrong.
His character gets shot a lot of times in the movie, he actually wakes up from the grave. Bullet shots don't affect him and wounds get healed real quickly. I guess it was the only true Snuff movie.
He looked very similar to how Heath Ledger looks in "The Dark Knight". Everyone knows what happened to Heath Ledger, he died of a Drug overdose.
The Dark Knight was Heath Ledger's last movie, you will be amazed how close he looks to Brandon Lee from The Crow.
Everyone commended Brandon's work in The Crow.
Everyone Commended Heath Ledger's work in The Dark Knight.
Both of them died during the filming of the movie, the movies were around 90% done.
Both Painted their faces in amazingly similar way in their movie.
Just a coincidence I guess.
Death is no Coincidence, it is a bad incident.
I liked Brandon Lee's role in The crow and I seriously think he have could been a big star.
Heath Ledger was good in A knight's Tale.
Haven't seen The dark knight yet, reviews show that it is one of those movies that matches the Hype it gets.
Can't wait.

Research/case study/waste of time

Research is a human activity based on intellectual investigation and aimed at discovering, interpreting, and revising human knowledge on different aspects of the world.
Constructive research means developing solutions to a problem and that is not what i refer to.
I refer to dumb research or case studies that take place on humans for analysing human behaviour in different situations. To see how they react , how their bodies react when given some type of food and when under some sort of strain. Research about how many people out of how many behave differently, when the light in the room they are kept in is green and the food they are given is worms , should be kept highly confidential by the government. Anyone who leaks it should be shot. I don't even think this kind of research should be done on humans it should be done on the researchers and they should be taken to Mars. Research is a waste of time unless it is done on something that can make a difference in a positive way to as many people as possible.
Our governments are funding these dumb researchers who in turn waste their time and ours, studying and specializing in things which are meant to be left alone. Over specialization is a curse on mankind and we are all trying to know everything about nothing aren't we? Obese people are obese for various reasons and all reasons are because they eat a lot or they don't convert all of what they eat to energy. Working out is the only way and everything else like liposuction, pills, magnetic belts and god knows what, will have side effects. If you say that you are working out and still obese, I'm sure that you just started or your metabolism is slow as a sloth.
Another interesting well published research was done on babies , why do so many babies give themselves to research, don't they have any self respect. OMG babies can't think its their mothers who should be blamed. The research was, babies who are fed more mother's milk grow up to be smart. How the hell did they conduct this study? Did they record how much milk a baby drinks and wait till he grows up and check his IQ and compare it with other babies who had drunk less milk. I think these are just strategic conspiracies to sell baby products and secretly promote the concept of more mothers feeding babies on their milk, which is good in this extreme case . Coz mother's milk is the only perfect nutrition for babies. I don't know if they become smart after drinking it or not, i just want them to be healthy and have some self respect as adults.
I think case study or is it called psych study doesn't even belong in the realm of Science. Science should be not confined to study of everything and actually knowing nothing . It should be theorize, experiment and observe. More specifically Astronomy is the only real achievement of science.
Please do your own research and you know what is good for you. Life is meant to be explored like an adventure and if you are obese for example think of how you can lose weight the right way. I am sure world will open itself to you, if you have an open mind and please don't believe any case studies that are not even authentic with closed senses.

Stephen King- On writing.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_wtobNaYA4JY/SG8NND4LnmI/AAAAAAAAALs/yp-yqKSrJf8/s200/0671024256.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5219405011176103522" />
I just read this book yesterday and it is one of the few Non fiction books by Stephen King.
It is like a manual for people who are beginners or intermediate writers.
It starts of with how every writer should concentrate on keeping the prose simple and direct . King doesn't like Adverbs , I don't like adverbs. The first word that comes to your mind should be in the first draft and i agree with him.
King hates Passive Voice , I hate Passive voice. The best writers of prose weren't good dialogue writers, true. He says the Vocabulary and grammar is like a toolbox and we better sharpen our tools.
Fiction should concentrate on the plot and the story than being a character study or even an over-researched thesis is the last thing anybody wants to read. He wants us to go to our happy place to write but doesn't necessarily have to be that way since King's best novels, Carrie and Salem's lot were written where he was disturbed the most, in some laundry where he used to work.
This book was written in 1999 and he was involved in an accident and almost died before completing this book.
Later part of the book describes his brush with ill fate when he was just taking his daily walk in June 1999. A very solid description considering he was still recovering when he completed the book and his leg was broken in 9 places. King acknowledges his Wife as being his Ideal reader and urges every writer to have an Ideal Writer in mind when they work.
I think the book is very helpful for writers like who don't want to be remembered for something i have written after my death but when I'm alive. Maybe i can get noticed when I'm alive by the commercial success my book s get, but do what. I think i will know when i write that i don't write for money , as King says i write for someone to be happy or making some one's day by somehow enriching their life with my small contribution.
I think the book becomes a little bit boring when King talks about finding publishers and stuff like how books aren't meant to be kept in safe boxes. I was expecting something like a boring manual when i picked up the book , coz the best fiction writers are good at only that and not Non fiction. Like always Stephen King surprises everyone.

Rock climbing- My Muse

Rock climbing - is an adventure sport which involves ascent of vertical rocks, cliffs or boulders with or with out the involvement of ropes, Ropes are involved in protection if you fall and in no way help in the ascent or the climbing itself which is done by the naturally formed cracks and holds and the continuous process of searching for these.
That is an exhaustive description of a sport I love and always have.
Before i go into what inspires me and what my plans are about this adventure sport and my life, lets look at why i like rock climbing.
When on a rock , you start by looking for the first hold or the crack to cling on and the process starts. Midway through you realize you are soloing( without ropes), your fingers start slipping and there is a moment and in this moment you realize that if you climb and reach the peak safely , you are going to do what you always wanted with your life. Coz in that moment you realized you can fall and your life doesn't flash in front your eyes as they say in those books instead you want to live your life to the fullest if you survive, you know what you are going to do with the rest of it.
No matter how much is left.
I think this started me to take up rick climbing, But the real inspiration was the movie Fight Club. What a movie that was, there is scene in the movie where Brad Pitt puts a gun on a store clerk's head and asks him what he wanted to be. He says Veterinarian and then Brad Pitt lets him go and tells him that if he is not on his way to becoming a veterinarian, He will track him down and kill him.
That scene totally moved me, next day I was on my way.
Now for the last part what are my plans, ambitions, ideas on doing this right.
I think i wanna take Rock climbing Mainstream in India, I'll start my own Venture soon. Been savin for that so any suggestions will be appreciated.
I wanna climb Yosemite in California.
I wanna be like Dean Potter in India.
I guess i know I will, soon...
Which is your favourite scene in South park?
My scene is when Cartman says "Who wants to touchme?" in the south park bigger longer uncut movie.

South park is a series that was created by Trey parker and Matt stone and the best ever, because of the satire , humour, spoofs, their take on happenings in the country and the fact that it creates so much controversy tells you how famous this became and it still is.
Do u have so much freedom of speech in your country?
Why does Cartman being a self centred and racist character that he is , liked by so many people, including me?
Why dont we have such TV shows in India?
If you made a spoof on my presidents private parts they will prosecute me, right?
At least in my country they do.
Why does Kenny die in almost every episode, does that signify that poor people are meant to die?
Or , ?does it mean that no one cares for poor people
Is scientology such a big lie that it is obvious to everyone?

Please comment, thank you.
<img width='1' can say after i read this wonderful book. God damn you if you don't read this , hehehehehe.

( "I hate you Kenny" --- Eric Cartman).

Misery is a book that starts of with Author Paul Sheldon all relieved and glad that his series of novels on Misery Chastain and imaginary bestselling character he invented , coming to an end with the last novel Misery's child.

He misjudges a storm and jumps is his car over a small cliff and crashes , severely injuring his legs. Gets rescued by a middle aged lady called Annie Wilkes and his misery begins!

First thing he notices is he is not in the hospital, Annie takes him to her Farm house which is very isolated considering throughout the story only two cars pass by the house.

Annie has a mental problem and she is catatonic. Paul knows he is in trouble by the overly assertive tone of Annie and the maternal smile that she gives when she is assertive that screams ," I know what is good for you asshole"! Paul gets addicted to the pain relieving tablets called Novril that she gives him everyday.

She is addicted to Misery, she is the number one fan of Paul Sheldon and when Paul's recently released book is read by Annie , she gets angry and burns the manuscript of his new book called Fast Cars because of the swearing in it.

Annie gets devastated when she know Misery has died(in the book) and leaves him in pain for 51 hours.

Paul discovers a way to get out of the room with her bobby pin. gets his fix, steals some drugs and makes a dent in the doorway when his wheel chair gets stuck.

Annie wants him to bring Misery to life and now we are well into the life of Paul whose misery seems never ending. Paul writes the book on the Royal typewriter with the missing n. Rewrites it because Annie is the best critic for Misery , right? Man does my heart go out for Paul at this point in the book.

The best scene in the book i think is when Annie is standing with the blow torch and an Axe and Paul thinks she is gonna chop his dick and she instead chops his leg from ankle , coz she knows that he tried escaping. Man that was intense !!!

Paul finishes the book and then convinces Annie that she helped him write the greatest book in his life. Burns first few pages along with lot of paper and lighter fluid and Annie dies at last.

I feel a little sad for Annie coz she was a patient of a mental condition after all.

Paul is a character which was inspired by an incident in King's life where a fan did enter his house over the conclusion in one of his books.

"On a long enough time line the survival rate for everybody drops to zero" -- Tyler Durden

Something Wicked This Way Comes

I recently read this book from one of my favourite authors of the horror genre, Ray Bradbury, the book is called Something Wicked This Way Comes , taken from one of Shakespeare's novels.
I think it is a must read for any aspiring writer or for anyone for that matter. It Defeinitely is fast paced, interesting and very scary if you let your imagination run wild . The story is a description of two days in the life of Will and Jim, two thirteen year old boys who get more than they asked for in one October of their lives, when a carnival comes to their town at 3 AM.
The most striking aspect of the book is the adventure that is pumping in their bloods and they overcome many obstacles including defeating their fears since the owner of the carnival knows when they are afraid and feeds on that. I like the Carousel , which is like a time machine and if you ride it normally you get old by a year with every rotation and if you ride it in reverse you get younger. The concept is very neat and i like the fact that the plot is built better than the characters , for example the lightning rod salesman is a character who could have gotten more ink or he could have a little more to do in the story. Charles Halloway is Will's dad and his secret desire to grow young is very obvious throughout but he fights the feeling and that made so much sense in the end. He is a character inspired by Author's Dad and Ray has emotinally accepted this fact many times, he Says it is a tribute in some way to his dad. Another interesting fact about Ray Leonard is that he started writing after meeting some Freak called Mr.Electrico(Cooger becomes Mr.electrico in the book), who told him the secret to be eternal and Ray never stopped writing after that.
When they defeat the freaks in the end all they do is sing and dance and smile coz that makes the freaks weaker an weaker. They rescue Jim's soul and When Charles says he is afraid they will end up like the Illustrated Man if they use the Carousel even once, God that was intense.

Horror is a genre that is very knew to me and i'm definitely interested in writing a book like this and will surely do in a year or two I've begun my research on writing and started reading Stephen King, Lovecraft and now Ray Bradbury. Some John Wydham books which i will want to finish next week but if anybody has any suggestions , please let me know.
"If you stare long in the Abyss, the abyss stares at you" --Freidrich Nietzche

time passes really fast!! i'm seriously!!!

Time passes very quickly nowadays.
I don't even notice the days anymore it is just the weeks that look like days now.
When i was a kid one day was full of infinite possibilities, there used to be a hundred plans whenever i woke up, i could easily do them all and still think why is time going so slow.
I think it is really wrong when people say that time passes quickly when you are enjoying. Or you know the theory of relativity, is very vague according to me.
I was musing on these concepts recently when i read a book caled Four Past Midnight by Stephen King.
Actually started reading it, the book is a collecton four novellas.
The first which i read is called The langoliers and is pretty impressive.
It is definite Scifi, Horror, Mystery story which takes place completely in a plane and two airports. The story starts with Brian Engle , a commercial airliner pilot who in his forties has had a bad day at work after landing a plane with pressure problem. He gets to know that his wife has died when he lands in the LAX airport and gets involved in a time warp in the Red Eye(plane from LA to Boston) he takes to see his wife.
The strong point of King is that he gives his characters enough substance and the plot is well built too. The story doesnt lag at any point except for maybe once nearing the end.
The ending is quite radical, it leaves a lot to the imagination and makes you explore alternate possibilities. I still feel like the radiance of the survivors of flight 29 have when they land in LAX is because they are dead and not the other way round, think about that.
Toomy's character is very striking and sticks with you even after you have completed the novella. Toomy's character i could relate myself, since he has the need to be perfect at the same time very insecure about his life, parents and everything his father has told him and wants to believe strongly in whatever he believes in.
If you read the Langoliers please let me know how my reveiew was.

"The things you own, end up owning you"-- Tyler Durden.

horror, the awsomeness defined

why do i like horror suddenly?
i think horror is something that cant be described. everything that is entertaining is fictitious, like movies , books.
when something is fiction, it is imaginary, maybe imagining something terrible and horrible and scary is better than imagining sonmething we all know , do or live with.
i think horror fiction has been really cool for a long time, but since stephen king, everyone wants to be into it.
it is not an easy genre to write on or even to make movies on.
Night of the living dead may look easy withall the zombies walking around, but it has somuch more to it when you understand the movie. it was about racism , infact.
i am gonna try and be stephen king like bestseller someday.
this is my official horror fiction induction.
watch the space and prepare for awsomeness.

Korn Evolution review- my review later(no time right now).

by some steven evans--
When I first listened to this album, I quickly thought that Korn was losing their touch, and that this certainly wasn't their best album. However, after listening to it for a while, my opinion has drastically changed. On my first listen, there were really only three songs that I loved instantly- "Intro", "Starting Over", and "Kiss". I didn't dislike the others, I just felt that there was nothing special about them, and therefore, the whole album seemed "watered down". But the other songs eventually grew on me after listening to the whole album about four times. Many of the tunes stick in your head, and they quickly become very enjoyable. Now I feel that this is one of Korn's best albums. The songs are certainly different than the songs that they did early on. They don't sound anything like "Freak on a Leash", or "Got the Life". However, they're great songs all the same. If you're disappointed when you first listen to it, just give it some time. Ultimately, I'm very glad that I bought this CD.

So buy the CD people, you wont regret it!!. :-)

my book- the beginning

I love this song....
Run by Snow Patrol.

When I heard this song sometime in 2005 , I was all ears for this one.
This had me hooked, but I didn’t get to hear it much since I couldn’t buy the CD, even though I had started working then.
This song is a ride , aw heck of a ride people. When I heard this the first time I had this trans like state showing me what could be happening to two people when this song is playing something like a video of the song.
The following is imaginary, which takes place entirely in my fucking head!! :-D

The song starts in a jungle, a rain forest I guess.
The guy is a long haired, well built, athletic, tribal who is sitting next to a pretty tribal girl.
The two love each other and have been held prisoners after the neighbouring tribe has won the war against their tribe.
They are going to be executed in a style, where a group of archers aim at you afer making you run in a field.
They give a headstart of a 500M.
Both are nude, coz they are tribal, and when the guy sings,”I sing it one last time for you”,
They are just getting ready for the game of Ardeath- death by arrows.
They have been woken up form their cages and brought to the filed early morning, the rays of sun are just hitting the exhausted guy who is sweating already after running with the prisoners till they reach the field.
The girl is a little less exhausted since the camp where her cage was kept is just a 2 kms away from the field as compared to the guy who has run 5 kms.
The reason why he says one last time for you, is obvious.
The Archers are all dressed in Red and gold.
Red coloured vest and golden skirt, purple boots.
They are getting ready and one of them is polishing the arrows too.

“ then we really have to go”, very obvious as it is they have to go, even they don’t wanna die.
It could also mean have to go to the next level, or phase of life.

“You’ve been the only thing that’s right, (slight pause) in a lifetime”. The first line of the song ends here and my keyboard is acting crazy. What he means is kinda subjective, you are the only thing that has been right in this very wrong life filled with my wrongdoings or others wrongful acts like this one on us.
He refers to her being right because he loves her, has found god in her, she is his life and after it too.
The pause he takes signifies the moment he found her, he remembers how they met at this very second.

“And I can barely look at you” Literally explains it , aint it?
He is exhausted to the core and hence can barely look at her or anything else .
Could also mean how he can barely manage to look at her after what the soldiers have done to her, bruises all over her face and body. Some bleeding , clogged blood on some of the bruises.
Here he knows that if he somehow gets out of this mess he is never gonna fail anywhere in life.
It also started drizzling now,so the sweat is mixing with rain and closing the guy’s eyes.

“But every single time I do, I stumble we get anywhere only from, sure”
This line is kinda confusing too, don’t if he says stumble or just mumbles something, but this is where he explains his plan to her .
The plan is to run in a zigzag motion when everyone else is running straight. Gets difficult to aim.
How he explains is another story altogether, it is the shining in his eyes that talks here.

“Light up, Light up, As if u have a choice, even if u cannot hear my voice, ill be right beside u dear”.
This is the highlight and one of the most important one at that, of the song and the story itself.
Coz here the guy gives her hope, the tears swelling in his eyes when he smiles at her are telling her to have hope in the grimmest of situations that they have found themselves in.
The whole song is not sung by our characters they are just struggling for their lives in the fields of Mongolia which has grown by the winning conquests of Genghis khan, This must be modern day Kazakhstan.
Unforgiving landscape and a canyon desert where no one lives even today.
He says light up twice coz he has to find hope along with her, coz with out hope they are as good as dead, even before any arrow hitting them.
As if u have a choice- that’s said because he knows that at this time when there is no choice but to have hope, is when he is asking her to have hope, in him , his plan and god. Afterall, It is a fight against the odds, that is worth fighting, isn’t it?
Even if u cannot hear my voice, ill be right beside u, dear- he says that coz even though they are communicating through their eyes, since they are sitting at a distance and he has no energy left to speak, he is moving his lips. Only saying, “light up, light up, my love”. ” We will win, yes we will”.
And he is gonna be right next to her through the game, running along with the rest of the prisoners, cuttings lanes and arrows.

“Louder, Louder. And we’ll run for our lives, I can hardly speak or understand, why u cant raise your voice to say”.
This means a lot to me personally, about this later in the book.
He says this coz by now she has started mumbling something just moving her lips like him, he can see that from distance, can’t quite get it though. Is she saying, whatever he is saying or is she saying that she loves him. She has said that a million times before, but he loves her too.
His heart is screaming I love you, now. But his mind wants to know what exactly is coming out of her mouth.
He wants her to speak louder coz they’ll be running for their lives, literally. With arrows of gleaming metal, striking several dozens at every second throughout the game.
He can hardly speak too, but he is confused with thoughts of what she is trying to say.
He doesn’t understand why she can’t raise her voice even though she is less exhausted, It is actually a plan she has, she doesn’t want the archers or the foot-soldier leading them to know that they are lovers. She doesn’t know that the leader of soldiers already knows that.

“To think I might not see those eyes, makes it so hard not to cry. And as we say our long goodbyes and you leave too”.
This is the point where the game is about to begin.
To think I might not see those eyes, makes it so hard not to cry- He says this coz he knows that once the game starts there is no certainty of them makin it alive, no certainty of anything. All assumptions now, the plan he has is all assumption floating on some hope that is rocking with the energy he has left. Rocking like a boat caught in a storm. Just the thought of seeing her dead makes him sad to the point of tears or are they just rain drops on his eyelids.
Whatever, he just wipes the water flowing down his cheeks and opens his eyes to see the game has begun. He is sitting in a group which is going last, since the game is begun from the other side of the field. So he can see her starting out just as he says goodbye, slowly.

“Light up, Light up, As if u have a choice, even if u cannot hear my voice, ill be right beside u dear”.
When this phrase comes in the song he is already running in the field.
He can see that she is about 20 yards away, and she just missed an arrow coz she stumbled on a stone, probably.
He can’t see with the rain clouding his eyesight. He is unable to run, his legs are cramped and the pain shoots in his right thigh. This is when he thinks of the hope he gave her when they were waiting for the game to begin. Now he knows that she will be dead, coz somehow she has forgotten what he told her through his eyes or she didn’t even get it.
Oh god… why is she running straight, this is when he says I’ll be right beside u dear and steer u through this one and picks up the pace.
To hell with the pain, to hell with my leg.
I’ve got to save her, save myself too. He is running straight too, gotta get beside her and let her know that she has to run like me,……. Run like me.

“Louder, Louder. And we’ll run for our lives, I can hardly speak or understand, why u cant raise your voice to say”.
He is getting close now, just a few paces more and he’ll get to her.
His heart is pounding louder and louder at this point in the song, the cramp is almost gone, it is like he is just gliding in the air.
Now they are running for their lives, with arrows striking everywhere, almost half are down by now, few dead, one screams like hell. A piercing cry that itself propels him a little further.
By the time he says run across the field , my love, An arrow is in air that has her name written all over it.
He turns around just enough to catch a fleeting glimpse, and jumps on her and both fall on the ground like falling prey when a lion strikes. The arrow strikes the ground, just a little further from where they fell.
Even now he cannot hear her, is he gone deaf or has she gone mute.

“Slower, Slower. We don’t have time for that, All I wants to find out, is a way to get out of our little hut”.
Both breathing heavy, hearts pounding. He can see her face clearly now, no blood, rain has washed her face. She smiles at him and he gets all the hope he needs to see him through this one.
Now he wants her to breath slow , since he is afraid her heart might explode or something, he can see her breast, those perfect breasts and he is thinking , why the hell did I get this angel here, why couldn’t I see the war coming.
It is too late now, we don’t have time for that , all I want now is to find out if there is a way to get out of this mess( hut- since they were kept in a hut like cage all these days after their capture).
Now he wonders why did she have bruises on her face, was she fighting with the inmates or the soldiers did this to her.

“Have heart my dear, we’re bound to be afraid even if its just for a , few days making up for all this mess”.
He says this in the song, these are the only words he speaks and she can hear this when he says it.
Have heart my dear- Coz he wants her to have hope now, in him. He knows she is afraid just like him, maybe more, but he knows that it is just for a few minutes actually, the hard days are over now, they are at the moment of truth.
They are going to make it and he knows that. He wants her to know too. In a few minutes their fate will be decided and they manage to get up here.
He shows her the plan, since he wants to conserve energy, for the last run, the most important run of his life,
He just makes a zigzag movement in the air with his index finger and they start again, running in opposite direction.
Running with their lives on stake. He knows now that if he gets to the base of that hill he can see a kilometer away he is going to make it since that is the point the arrows cant reach them and he knows the tunnel that can take them to the shore and they will catch a boat to someplace where they are going to live , their happy ever after.
They are just a few hundred meters away, now, he is about to crash on the ground, when he steadies himself.

“Light up, Light up, As if u have a choice, even if u cannot hear my voice, ill be right beside u dear”.
He can see her, running like an angel, giving him more hope, it is like he is gonna choke on hope now, There is so much hope, but there is pain too, since an arrow has struck his leg, he doesn’t even know when he got hit, but the blood is running on the ankle now, all the way from his thigh where the arrow is.
He breaks it and starts to run, in a few minutes they make it.
Now he has his hand on his chest, it is pounding like hell and he doesn’t know if they made it. He turns around and sees her, now his heart is saying light up, light up , u made it buddy, u made it with her and they can’t get u .
She hugs her, as if she wants to say I’ll be right beside u dear.
Still he can’t hear her speak, what is wrong, he wonders and notices that her tongue has been chopped off. Those bastards, he wants to go back and kill them all or just die tryin.
He touches her lips and turns around but she has held his hand and jerks it once to show that it is okay, now.
They are gonna live.
He can see the tunnel, they go through it and now when he says light up, or rather when his heart says, he can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*--*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*--*-*-*-*--*-*-*--**-*-*--*-*-*-*--*-*-*--*
